The Traditional Cheese Dairy at Burnt House Farm, Waldron, East Sussex handcrafts award winning raw milk cheeses from the Delves family's own herd, with a 24 hour cheese vending machine.
The Traditional Cheese Dairy is run by the Delves family, third generation dairy farmers at Burnt House Farm in Waldron, East Sussex, where the family has been milking cows since 1962.
They bought the long established cheese business in 2021 and moved production onto their own farm, so the award winning cheeses are now handmade with free range raw milk from the family's own grass based, high welfare herd.
The range includes Olde Sussex, Burwash Rose, Goodweald Smoked, Lord of the Hundreds, Scrumpy Sussex and the Christmas Burjack cheddar, sold through the online shop with UK shipping and from the dairy itself, where a cheese vending machine is open 24 hours a day. The farm embraces traditional methods, nurturing the land and hedgerows, and everyone working there is described as a grazing advocate with the animals' freedom and health paramount.

Delivered there and before I left I bought some cheese out of the vending machine and my wife says its apsolutly beautiful I can't have it cos I'm lactose but will definitely get more for her never know I might get a free one or two.

Very good cheese, used for a function and got really good feedback from clients. Will definitely use again and if anyone asks for a local cheese supply would definately recommend.

Great setup, such a great idea. Fabulous raw cheese. Would love to access raw milk if possible.
