Cothelstone Micro-Dairy
Cothelstone Micro-Dairy is a small regenerative dairy in the Quantock Hills, Somerset selling seasonal raw milk from a small British Shorthorn herd, with calves kept at foot for months.
Cothelstone Micro-Dairy is a small herd dairy at Cothelstone, run with animal welfare at the front of every decision.
The cows are milked at sunrise and keep their calves at foot for months rather than days, with each pair weaned on its own timetable. The herd eats homegrown forage and pasture with no soya, grains or concentrates, and the land is managed from the soil up to encourage biodiversity.
The milk is sold from an honesty fridge at the farm, open every day and restocked on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with local delivery also on offer. Bring a bottle, help yourself and leave your payment in the box.

By far and away the most delicious and nutritious milk you can get your hands on and from a wonderful, insightful and generous lady too!
This is such a beautiful Micro-Dairy! Not only is the raw milk incredible tasty and creamy but you can even get equally as delicious yoghurt! Always such a joy to see the cows in the field and support a local community project- how it should be!
Genuinely the best milk and yogurt I have ever tasted. So lovely to be able to support a small local business, run by the loveliest of people who shows genuine care and compassion for her animals… and bonus points that I can hack over whenever I need more!
