Get Started

Danefold is a family run livestock farm in the Low Weald of Sussex at West Grinstead, near Horsham, breeding and rearing pedigree Aberdeen Angus, Beef Shorthorn and White Park cattle.

All are slow matured traditional native breeds raised on a species rich, 100% pasture diet, and the farm is certified by Pasture for Life, the movement of British farmers producing animal products in the most natural way possible. The beef is naturally marbled, rich in omega 3 and aged on the bone for a minimum of three weeks before being prepared by a local artisan butcher.

Beef is sold direct through a pop up farm shop at the farm, where customers pick their own cuts rather than a whole box, and at farmers markets including Steyning in Sussex and Pimlico Road and South Kensington in London on Saturdays. Each year the farm also hosts country markets at Danefold with over 60 stalls of local produce, live bands and family entertainment.
