Nice place for either produce shopping or cafe, but prices are on the steep side.

Lovely farm shop with a great selection of food and products to buy. Coffee shop has plenty of seating.

Decent farm shop and cafe. Seats outside and enjoyable stop off on a bike ride. My only quibble would be the staff seemed a bit run off their feet clearing tables in a timely manner but that's probably just because it was a sunny summer Saturday and quickish turnover.

Raw milk available. Great little farm shop selling local produce. The print room downstairs feels like living history.

A really great resource to have within 20 minutes walk of our campsite. The shop is very well stocked but as expensive as you might expect from a farm shop. They have a cafe, with a few things suitable for vegetarians like my wife and I, a booth selling coffee, drinks, ice cream and milkshakes and a vending machine for raw organic milk. The picnic tables are spread on a lawn and underneath the shade of trees. The 3 of us very much enjoyed our visit.

Stayed here for the first time in the motorhome and camping 🏕 area. Absolutely brilliant, exceptional showers and facilities. Level pitches lovely views and ample dog walking in the area. Farm shop and cafe caters for just about all your needs food and drinks wise. Would stay again if we get the opertunity to be up this way again.

A lovely campsite, with a great shop, brilliant cafe and the best bit.....a raw milk machine. Absolutely fantastic milk, like milk should taste. There is a gentle nature circular walk around the farm woods, or an easy walk along the river to Kendal. The campsite toilets and showers and very clean with a washing up area and drying room. We enjoyed it very much here and will be returning.

We are finishing our holiday in Kendal after two weeks and staying around the corner in the CAMC site and within these two weeks we have been going here for either breakfast or brunch. Let’s just say I loved it there the cafe is out if this world and their breakfast maybe large but it’s definitely top quality. Their cheese in beer on toast was excellent too. Hoping to pop to buy some cheeses from their delicious cheese counter and some excellent jams while having last breakfast there. Well done to all with this great farm and cafe shop.

Nice stop on your way in or out of the Lake District. Get farm fresh organic milk with cows in the barn next to you. Buy a bottle of a size of your choosing and fill it yourself. There's a shop downstairs and a cafe upstairs. Lovely, friendly staff all around. And if you ate one too many scones, go on a short trail on the property through a small wooded area. Grab a tick sheet for the kids to find icons and signs along the trail.

We called here en-route to Windermere. The farm shop stocks an excellent selection of extremely good quality produce. There is a raw milk self-serve machine situated outside the shop. Above the shop is a lovely gift shop and cafe. The cafe has an extensive menu and our food was very good. Freshly cooked and piping hot. The service was very prompt and the staff were very friendly and efficient.

Easy on route ample parking for even a few larger campers/tourers. Dozen well placed picnic tables and chairs outside should you have a dog or wish to bask in the sun. Nice shop but would need to confirm items are locally sourced before being tempted to pay the price. Cafe staff are busy, friendly and very professional… tip jar needed. Coffee was really nice as was the breakfast overall. Very greasy chip wedges though.
