Rafter M Farm and Dairy is a family farm at Kasilof, Alaska, raising cattle, pigs and chickens alongside a small dairy herd.
The beef is pasture raised and finished on Delta barley, beets and field peas with no corn or soy, and the pork, raised by the family's son Connor at his place in Nikiski, is fed the same way.
Beef and pork sell by the half or whole animal, delivered to the butcher to be cut to your liking, while pasture raised whole chickens wait in the farm store freezers alongside chicken and duck eggs. A herd share scheme gives members a weekly gallon of milk from a scheduled farm stand pick up, and seasonal produce is announced on their social media pages.
