Black Barn Hollow is a family run micro goat dairy in Sedalia, Colorado selling raw Nigerian Dwarf goat milk through a herd share, plus small batch yogurt, cheese, ice cream and goat milk soap.
Black Barn Hollow is a small goat dairy in Sedalia, Colorado that keeps its herd deliberately small, milking only a few goats at a time so the milk stays clean and the animals stay healthy.
Colorado law only allows raw milk for owners of the animals, so the farm runs a herd share programme in which members buy a small stake in the herd and receive fresh raw goat milk through the milking season, which runs from March to November.
Members reserve a half gallon a week on a chosen pickup day and can add small batch yogurt, ice cream and cheeses. Goat milk soaps, lotions and lip balms made on the farm can be bought without a share, and anyone interested is encouraged to visit and meet the herd.

We just joined Black Barn Hollow a few weeks ago and are absolutely loving it. As a family who is sensitive to lactose, we desired all the great benefits of milk without the digestive upset and we’ve hit the jackpot here! The milk is delicious, smooth and actually seems to help my digestive system when I drink it first thing in the morning before anything else. My girls absolutely love visiting the farm and Landon and his family are so kind and welcoming. Landon answers any questions we have and lets the girls hang out with the goats and chickens as long as they like. They also LOVE the ice cream! The Kefir is bright and also delicious and we just got some cheese to try. I actually sought out this raw goat milk source to make goats milk soap and I just completed my first batch which will take another month before it fully cures and can be used, but I’m so excited to have this incredibly nourishing milk to add to our homemade skin care products! And who knew I’d love the milk so much to drink?! I was certainly surprised how much I liked it! So now I plan to buy an extra 1/2 gallon of milk some weeks so I can make all of the fun things as well as enjoy drinking the milk as a family.
