Food & Thought is an all organic grocery, cafe and juice bar in Naples, Florida with its own 15 acre organic farm, also stocking raw dairy from Alday Farm.
Food & Thought is an all organic grocery, cafe and juice bar on Tamiami Trail North in Naples, Florida, established in 2004 by Frank Oakes.
The shopfront is signed Organic Farm Market and Juice Bar, and the mission the store sets out is to offer, without exception, only food that is grown organically. Everything in the cafe kitchen is 100 percent organic. The same site holds Thoughtful Threads, their organic clothing shop, and a second all organic restaurant, Food & Thought 2, sits on Airport Pulling Road.
Behind the shop is the company's own 15 acre farm in Collier County, where over 60 types of fruit, vegetables and herbs are grown with organic methods, free from chemical pesticides and GMOs. Long beds of lettuce, kale, cabbage and tomatoes run across it, and what the crew picks goes onto the shop shelves and into the cafe and juice bar. The store also stocks raw dairy from Alday Farm, a separate producer.

Horrible experience I EXCHANGED items 3 times over a span of 3 weeks cause I’m a lymphatic cancer patient in remission with sever autoimmune disorder and sometimes their products were bad like the prepared food because it’s been sitting a few days and makes me severly at risk! every time I exchanged the item and I made sure to get at least $25+ more over apologizing for it and the older lady worker accosted me every time I would go in even on transactions that had no returns about making sure I don’t return anything super rude and disrespectful to my condition even after I tried explaining to her on one occasion during a exchange. That was so wrong! Especially when on multiple occasions I saw other people making returns not EXCHANGES who did not get treated the same way completely disrespectful to my disability! Once I made a fuss about it cause I couldn’t take how she handled me and complained to her and her manager they banned me from the store for being UPSET!!!Rightfully so!!! They said I “scared” her by the way I yelled at her for being so disrespectful all because I’m young and I know my rights and that was completely not okay for her to do so to me after I had already tried to kindly tell her a previous time to not treat me like that when I was seeing her treat other customers with better manners and respect! I have never been treated this way over returning maybe $25 in products while buying over $670 worth of products when I looked back into my transactions and statements. Truly bizarre and telling how much they don’t care about people with ADA disabilities where they are marketing themselves to be that way and I can’t stand stores that operate like that.
