Weekes Family Farm

The cows now live year round on chemical free, unsprayed natural pasture, with local unsprayed alfalfa and grass hay through winter and an organic grain ration at milking to keep them in good condition. The one Jersey currently in milk has been tested and confirmed A2/A2, and the farm is permitted to sell its milk through the State of Idaho Department of Agriculture.

The milk is raw, never pasteurised or homogenised, machine milked and sold in glass bottles: plain milk, cream, half and half, chocolate milk and buttermilk, each with a small returnable bottle deposit. Pastures, feed and milk are stated to be completely free from GMOs, antibiotics, chemicals and synthetic hormones. The laying flock lives in a spacious coop with all day access to a large run on 100 percent organic feed, and the family has grown its food organically for over 15 years.
