The dairy case carries raw whole milk, handmade cheese and yogurt and fresh eggs; the freezers hold wholesome, natural beef, lamb, pork and chicken, with beef also sold by the half or whole; and the shelves fill with ripe fruit and vegetables from their own gardens and partner farms, fresh sourdough and baked goods from artisan bakers, local honey and preserves.
The hive side of the name is a serious business: hundreds of 100 percent pure beeswax candles handmade in Idaho, beeswax ornaments, and honey extraction and farm equipment rentals for local beekeepers. The farm also hosts classes and events, from chicken butchering days to farm visits, and offers an event space and farm stays.
