Sirocco Ridge Farm is a small Lamancha dairy goat farm in Henryville, Indiana, about 20 miles north of Louisville, Kentucky, trading since 2013.
The farm holds Animal Welfare Approved certification and describes practising permaculture, no till growing and rotational grazing to build soil health, keeping goats, chickens, horses and llamas together in a circular system on pasture, with the animals raised on local hay and grass.
The farm sells a CSA vegetable box, pastured eggs and custom grown pullets alongside its goat cheeses, which include a fresh chevre, a heritage style feta, a Manchego style and a Gouda, and a goat dairy gelato. It also sells dairy goats, and offers doe, doeling and goat herd shares so a buyer can keep and be milked from their own animal at the farm. We鈥檝e been part of Sirocco Ridge Farm鈥檚 herd-share program for 3 months now and have been quite impressed. The owners are on-top of everything! They walked us through their herd and let us interact with the goats before we signed up. They taught us about their operations. They鈥檙e very thorough and don鈥檛 cut any corners. Highly recommend!

I speak from years of experience. This is a farm ran by truly compassionate individuals that strive to put out the best products around. Their big softy goat cheese is bar none the best basket goat cheese I鈥檝e ever had. The gelato is 馃敟馃敟 as well.

Amazing fresh goat cheese. Today I picked up two containers of "Big Softy" the mildest goat cheese I have ever had. Next week I will be getting their feta in brine. Local small farm. Can't get any better! Picture of the Big Softy in the container and then the salad I made with it as the star.
