Maple Lane Farms is a five generation family farm and butcher in Charleston, Maine, selling locally raised beef, pork, chicken and lamb from its farm store, with custom processing and hay sales.
Maple Lane Farms is a five generation family farm in Charleston, Maine, farmed by the Higgins family since 1935.
Today it runs around 700 naturally raised beef cattle, a state inspected processing facility with an automated smokehouse, and one of the largest hay dealing operations in the northeastern United States. The farm retail store sells locally raised beef, pork, chicken and lamb, every cut done by hand, sealed and flash frozen straight from the cutting rooms with no old stock.
Ordering works by call in: the team fills your order and calls when it is ready, with cash, card and EBT accepted at the store, which opens seven days a week. The farm also sells its Black Label Reserve home raised beef, hay, silage and screened compost, and takes custom processing appointments for customers who raise their own animals. They cheerfully call themselves the candy store for the carnivore.

Best place to get ur meat and now they have more go check them out you won't be disappointed.
Wonderful Meat!!
This is where we buy all of our meats. It is so convenient. We follow them on Facebook and they are constantly putting out special packages. We do a lot of the 10-pound sales, which often have some great pricing for stocking up your freezer. You call in the order and it's usually packages within a day or two. They call you when it's ready and you just pull up to the door when you arrive and they load it into the back of your vehicle. Meats are great and packaged in good portion sizes.

We do not hold prices, availability, parking, access details or event dates for Maple Lane Farms. The farm answers those directly on its own site, by phone or by email.
There's a doggie receptionist thag is darling, the meat is by far some of the best and reasonably priced. Comparing this to the one you get at the local supermarket its not even compatible. The staff is friendly and happy to answer any inquiry you might have. They carry some preserved veggies which are a bit on the expensive side but I am sure they are worth the price. Honey and maple syrup is also available.
We had a great experience with Maple Ln. Farms near Dover-Foxcroft. They are friendly, helpful, and clearly take pride in what they do. It is always good to support a local farm that puts real effort into quality and service. Definitely worth checking out.
My 3rd time going here alittle pricey but so much better than meat in the grocery store well worth it.
We travel over an hour here several times a year for nothing but the best quality. They have a great selection of beef, chicken and pork. Our family personally loves their chorizo! Always worth a trip!
