Went there today, kids were excited to milk Bessie n see some other farm critters. Bessie is a wooden cow with water in place of milk just a couple feet away from the outhouse so it was pretty gross with flies. Not sure who thought of the placement but the logic made me second think buying anything food related. Yes I know it's a farm but still this is something for kids to play with not were I want my grands playing would have preferred them walking around in cow poop pettering the animals that we did not see just a few friendly cows to pet n stuff to buy. The massage looked tempting but was wide open for everyone to watch not to relaxing in my opinion. I just started my Organic all healthy homemade journey for my family a few months ago n was excited about this being basically in my backyard. Kinda bummed.
We had hoped getting meat straight from the farm would improve overall quality and price. We bought T-bones, a smoked chicken and a jar of home made jam for over $80. The steaks and chicken were brought out frozen. The chicken, although smoked, still required cooking. The steaks were also somewhat tough, but they did have a great flavor. I guess our search for good meat products continue.
Excellent products and pricing! Eating right with Organic is the best way to safe on rising Healthcare costs!
Absolutely wonderful people. Their products are the best around.
Great family run operation! Super friendly folks. We went on Maine's maple weekend and had a chance to visit the cows, horses, donkey and rabbits! The samples they had were great! We got a mason jar of maple syrup and a bunch of flavored ground coffee to try! #supportlocal.
I just tried their raw yogurt. I bought it from whitewater farm supply store. It was absolutely delicious. I make my own typically, this is just as good if not better.
