Long Valley Farm is a small mixed vegetable farm just east of Kalamazoo, Michigan, growing a wide range of seasonal vegetables including plenty of heirloom and open pollinated varieties.
The farm works biologically, building and feeding the soil rather than reaching for chemicals, and handles pests with mechanical controls and beneficial insects instead of sprays.
Produce is sold directly to the local community, with the farm open Friday afternoons and through the day at weekends, and visitors are welcome to see how the vegetables are grown.

I've done their CSA for 3 years and the vegetables were amazing every time. I love the variety of what is included in the shares, and I enjoyed trying many new vegetables and varietals over the years. The online store and local pickup options are also excellent.
