Milligan Dairy Farm in Parma, Michigan has been producing milk since 1883.

Today the farm runs a herd share program built around a small herd of A2/A2 grass fed cows, a mix of Shorthorn, Brown Swiss, Dutch Belted, Jersey and American Lineback breeds, with names like Jelly, Milkshake, Peanut Butter and Josey. Members buy into the herd for a one time fee of 75 dollars, then pay 30 dollars a month for a gallon share of fresh cream line milk, or 20 dollars for a half gallon.

The cows graze on pasture and shareholders are welcome to visit the farm and meet the herd. Alongside milk the farm offers heavy cream, eggs from hens ranged free on pasture, and cheese, yogurt and kefir making kits. Milk is collected at the farm or at weekly drop points around Jackson, Grass Lake, Chelsea and Leslie.
