Humble Beginnings Dairy is a family dairy farm at 2506 90th Street in Plato, Minnesota, sharing raw milk from its own Jersey cows, from the family's pastures to your family's table.
Because Minnesota's raw milk laws are ambiguous, the farm runs a simple herdshare: members own a portion of the herd, pay a boarding fee per half gallon share, and collect their milk at the farm in glass bottles or plastic jugs. Pickup runs 8am to 8pm Monday to Saturday and 8am to 3pm on Sunday, paid in cash at a box by the milk fridge.
The family also sells grass fed beef, born and raised in their own pastures, by the whole, half or quarter. Customers reserve an animal, call their cutting order in to the local butcher by Hamburg, and fill a freezer with steaks, roasts and ground beef at one flat price per pound of hanging weight. Everything is arranged directly with Amy by text or phone, and the farm walks new members through their first pickup.

Best raw milk in Minnesota! Pick up already is extremely clean and they offer a variety of other raw goods such as cream, yogurt and butter. Family owned and extremely kind people.

Reached out to them and despite their herd share being full they were able to accommodate me and my family, which was very important for us since we just had a new born and needed the fresh raw milk and pastured eggs!
