Hand to the Plough Homestead

The family never imagined owning livestock or milking cows, but a healing journey to nourish their children with the most nutrient dense food led them here, guided by the dietary principles of the Weston A. Price Foundation. They sell fresh eggs, raw milk, raw cream, greek yogurt and ice cream, with sourdough bread, jams and baked goods appearing from time to time, and they raise pork and turkeys too.

The herd is led by Opal, a registered Milking Shorthorn whose milk proteins are A1/A2 and who generously calf shared while raising her June 2025 heifer, Ruby. Juniper, one of Opal's earlier calves, makes A2/A2 milk. The farm store is a self serve setup in the garage, taking cash or Venmo, with free pamphlets on raw milk and traditional nutrition to browse.
