We just recently moved to the area and feel so blessed to have discovered this amazing farm and store! ❤️ They have farm-fresh, delicious raw milk, eggs, chicken, homemade jams, fresh vegetables, and so much more. Everything is so fresh, and the farm and store are very well taken care of. It’s wonderful to support a hardworking family-run farm that takes such pride in what they do. This is a working farm that has a quaint wonderful store. They sell goats mild and meats. They also have a selection of other products. They no longer sell raw cows milk. Is worth the ride.
AKM Farm Market and Dairy is a small licensed raw milk Jersey dairy in Millbrook, New York selling raw cow and goat milk, eggs and local Hudson Valley products from its daily on farm market.
AKM Farm is a small Jersey cow dairy in Dutchess County, New York, owned and operated by Diane and Michael Massarone and named for their three daughters, Amanda, Katelyn and Melissa. Michael grew up raising dairy cows through the Dutchess County 4H programme, and the couple's herd is currently two milking cows, Luna and Juno, with three young heifers coming on. The cows have access to pasture and are mainly grass fed, supplemented with some grain, and the farm also raises registered Alpine and Nubian dairy goats.
The farm holds a New York State raw milk licence, with its milking equipment and milk quality monitored by the State Department of Agriculture and Markets and regular visits from Quality Milk Production Services. The on farm market sells raw cow milk, raw goat milk and fresh chicken eggs alongside locally sourced Hudson Valley products, from beef, pork and chicken to breads, yogurt, cheese and seasonal produce. It is open every day, and visitors are welcome to meet the animals.
