Butterfield Farm is a family run certified organic dairy in Burke, New York, selling raw Jersey milk, grass fed beef, pastured pork and poultry direct from the farm.
Butterfield Farm is a grass focused family farm at Burke in northern New York, in the foothills between the Adirondacks and the St Lawrence River.
Bradley and Kathryn Kent milk a Jersey herd that has been certified organic by NOFA-NY since 2005, and the farm holds a New York State raw milk permit. The milk is sold raw, filled from the tank into your own container while you watch, by appointment.
The same grass fed Jersey herd supplies the beef, which goes straight from the farm to Tri-Town Packing in Brasher Falls, with no feed lot at any stage. The family also raises pasture and milk fed pork, chickens moved onto fresh grass every day and fed lacto-fermented organic grain, ducks, Thanksgiving turkeys, eggs and summer raspberries. Birds are chilled in well water rather than a chlorine bath. Through the year the farm posts about grazing, fencing and haymaking.

Excellent customer service and amazing milk. I still need to try their meat, but this is by far the best place to go for milk.
