Great little market, equipped with spray-free grow tunnel produce, locally sourced other items like eggs and milk, a small coffee shop (cow milk only), the most amazing ice cream I’ve had in the entire greater Raleigh area, knickknacks, decor, and plants. They accept credit cards and have a port-a-potty out back.
We got fresh veggies and fruit as well as some prepared items. Everything was great and we will be back!
It was my first time visiting this farm. I walk through the store. I was never greeted I was never asked if I needed help Will not be visiting again.
After sharing that my strawberries from foodlion molded within 2 days, I was told to come here. I've visited twice so far and their strawberries, homemade ice cream, and cinnamon rolls are good!! The also have friendly service, the store has lots of other goodies that I plan to try in the future, and they have beautiful flowers.

Rebuilding the food system, from the farm up
Went over on Saturday afternoon with my mom. Love the variety of both garden and lawn plants. Enjoyed 2 scoops of their key lime icecream and 1 scoop of the Sweet potato icecream! Took home some 10 inch begonias. Great little area to walk and see the flowers or get a sweet treat.
I recently visited HS Howell Farms and was very impressed. The market has a clean, welcoming setup with a great selection of fresh, locally prepared items. I especially liked the refrigerated meals and the coffee area — everything looked well organized and high quality. The build-your-own candle station is a unique touch that makes the visit even more fun. It’s great to see a local farm market investing back into the community. If you believe in buying local and supporting Nash County businesses, this is definitely a place to stop. I’ll be back again.
Super excited to have found this gem. The young lady working answered all of my questions as I was so intrigued by all their products. Amazing to see the difference in big box grocery stores vs clean and healthy options. Will happily pay more for better quality. Love supporting small and locally whenever possible.
Howell Farms is a great place to visit! They have fresh vegetables, unique gifts, delicious ice cream, beautiful garden plants, and colorful hanging baskets. There’s something for everyone. And don’t forget to ask about the apple cider slushy — it’s a must-try!
