River Mountain Ranch

The family uses rotational grazing, diverse cover crops and holistic land management to build living soil, avoiding herbicides, pesticides and synthetic fertilisers. In their own words they farm without shortcuts: no hormones, no antibiotics, no chemicals. Their three daughters take an active part in daily chores, from moving cattle to tending the pastures.

The ranch raises Wagyu Angus cattle slowly on pasture and sells the beef direct from the farm as wholes and halves, alongside steaks, roasts, ground beef and an organs, bones and fat range. Two finishing options are offered: a grain finished line matured to 28 plus months and finished on non GMO grain, and a 100% grass finished line raised exclusively on diverse pasture, no grain, just forage. The farm also runs tours, horseback riding lessons and retirement horse boarding.
