River Mountain Ranch has the best grass fed meat. The Angus/waygu is very juicy and tender. I will definitely purchase from them again.
I recently purchased steak and ground beef and both have been absolutely delicious! I have also visited the farm and enjoyed learning from April about their organic and sustainable practices. Highly recommend!
Ordered my beef from this ranch and I was not disappointed! High quality meat! The ground beef is a staple in my home! Will be ordering again soon!
The grass finished NY Strip steak we got was perhaps the best steak I’ve had! Highly recommend.
Highly recommend the beef and pork! We have thoroughly enjoyed the juicy ribeyes, tender roast and tasty hamburger! Plus, you won’t be disappointed in their pork sausage and juicy chops!!
River Mountain Ranch in Louisburg, North Carolina raises regenerative Wagyu Angus beef sold in bulk and by the cut, in both 100% grass finished and grain finished lines.
River Mountain Ranch is a first generation family farm in Louisburg, North Carolina, run with a stated commitment to regenerative agriculture and soil health. The family uses rotational grazing, diverse cover crops and holistic land management to build living soil, avoiding herbicides, pesticides and synthetic fertilisers. In their own words they farm without shortcuts: no hormones, no antibiotics, no chemicals. Their three daughters take an active part in daily chores, from moving cattle to tending the pastures.
The ranch raises Wagyu Angus cattle slowly on pasture and sells the beef direct from the farm as wholes and halves, alongside steaks, roasts, ground beef and an organs, bones and fat range. Two finishing options are offered: a grain finished line matured to 28 plus months and finished on non GMO grain, and a 100% grass finished line raised exclusively on diverse pasture, no grain, just forage. The farm also runs tours, horseback riding lessons and retirement horse boarding.
