They have the best corn, peaches, pluns.
Everything is fresh.
Ordered some some crushed clam shells for the driveway. Same day delivery and the driver was able to spread the load to save me some work. Highly recommended!
Family owned and run, for years! It's a staple in East Matunack! They have fresh produce, tomatoes, vegs., fruits and their own frozen steaks, burger, etc. Their corn is coming and it's the Best! They have different kinds of yummy pies and cookies they bake right there. Flowers galore! Check out their beautiful greenhouses! I just love this little gem right here in beautiful Rhode Island! Enjoy folks!
Great farm-to-table veggies. Top notch annuals and perennials; wide assortment of ground covers: from mulch to seashells to different stones/rocks. Owned/operated by the Carpenter family for many generations. Prices are reasonable.
What a huge disappointment. Stopped at carpenters to get robbed for a $15 dozen ears of corn and interestingly enough they are all bagged up and you cannot choose your own anymore. Well, I suppose this is why… Take a look at the photos. Seven out of the 12 ears looked just like this, about 3-4 inches long without much corn on them at all. Each ear was partially opened so they obviously knew what they were selling. $15 is a lot of money to spend on a dozen year of perfect corn. Never mind this garbage.
Rebuilding the food system, from the farm up

My family was in the area on vacation, and our Airbnb hosts recommended Carpenter's Farm as a place to stop and shop. I am so glad we did! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The produce section was excellent. We purchased several of their fresh-baked pies, which were gone within two days. So good!! They also carry various other baked goods, meets, and other specialty items. Plus, their flowers were absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend you make Carpenter’s Farm a priority stop!
Stopped by and looked around. They have some fun and whimsical garden items for sale. I got some peaches along with a raspberry scone and a peanut butter cookie. All of it was yummy. Lots of flowers to take home and plant. Worth stopping.
