John Nadig
Farmer
Nadig Family Farm in Nisland, South Dakota sells 100 percent grass fed beef and lamb, organically fed pork, and raw A2/A2 Guernsey milk through a herdshare.
Nadig Family Farm is a family run farm at Nisland in the Black Hills country of South Dakota, started in 2007 with a simple aim: to raise cattle the right way on open pasture.
The farm says its cattle eat only grass and forage, never grain or supplements, are raised without growth hormones or routine antibiotics, and are moved regularly under rotational grazing to keep the land healthy. Alongside the beef the family raises lamb and organically fed pork on the same ground.
The farm also runs a raw A2/A2 milk herdshare from its grazing Guernsey cows, whose milk carries a golden colour from its high beta carotene and who are given only a small amount of certified organic grain at milking. Beef is sold as whole, half and quarter animals, custom cut to your own specification, with processing dates in the Black Hills region and in northern Illinois and drop off sites in the Black Hills. Google reviews shown on the farm's own site come from customers who say they have been buying meat straight from John for well over a decade.

I have nothing but good to say about my interactions with Nadig Family Farm. We have had their beef, pork, and milk. All were delicious and their customer service was great.
We’ve ordered ground beef from Nadig family farms twice now. Their beef is delicious! It’s way better than the grass fed beef we buy at the grocery store. We will definitely continue to order from them.
We've been using Nadig Family Farm for pasture raised beef and pork for years. John is wonderful to deal with-very responsive-answers questions in a timely manner and has integrity. We've always been pleased with our order. The meat is fantastic. I highly recommend Nadig Family Farm.

I have nothing but praise for Nadig Family Farm. I have been a customer for 13 years. The quality of their meat is exceptional. I found Nadig Family Farm while searching for an alternative to confinement farm meat. I realized I could not be a part of the cruelty to and suffering of the animals in these confinement farms. The Nadig animals enjoy life where they are free to graze pastures and feel the sunshine. The Nadigs are truly stewards of the earth. Purchasing from the Nadigs is easy. The price is transparent, ordering is straight forward and what you are promised is what you receive. I pay less and get a higher quality of meat then the questionable expensive meat at the grocery store. Knowing the source of my food is important to me. I highly, highly recommend Nadig Family Farm.
John has been very good to my family over the years by providing grass-fed cows and lamb meat, and chickens. Hard-working man and wonderful family in all aspects!
Before I was about to write my personal experience here, I was shocking to see another customer had similar experience in the past. I should have read those google review then made purchase from this farm owner John. He is a really rude person. I do not recommend customers who is really caring your health buy either cow meat or lamb or pork from this farm. Firstly, this farm animals are NOT really pastured raised, I visited this farm once I found what the true reality here is NOT the same thing as his website, if you read his website you would feel he is feeding his animals fresh grass and his animals are running on the pasture, not, it is NOT the case at all. And his animals are raised in enclosed area and the floor is full of muddy stuff, NOT grass at all. and his animals are feeding hay all year along. And today I tried to ask more questions, he said if I do not trust him I can go to some place else. He is so rude too. Future customers alert!! do not buy from this farm. Too horrible.
