Great people and milk. You need to order in advance, there's nothing extra to buy or add once you arrive.
The milk is amazing!!! Highly recommend.
Great milk and great service.
Great experience coordinating my first milk pick-up, and it tastes incredible! Not "goaty" at all - fresh and pure! The girls are fed an organic diet (AMAZING!) and are cared for and healthy. Looking forward to this becoming a staple in my household!
Happy goats, delicious milk. You gotta call or text to make an appointment to pick up milk.
Extremely clean milking processes and milking room which made great tasting milk that lasts a long time (3 weeks on my last batch. Worth the wait for milk production to get started in the spring. Get extra milk and freeze it for summer use.
DELICIOUS goat milk and lots of happy goats! Fran is super knowledgeable and friendly. I can't wait to go back!

Youngs Prairie Dairy is a state certified Grade A raw goat milk dairy at Sharp Goat Ranch on Youngs Prairie Road near Elgin, Texas, about 25 miles east of Austin. Frances Sharp milks the herd, home also to SharpAcres Dairy Goats, and the milk is licensed Grade A Raw for Retail, sold at the farm at 12 dollars a half gallon in non reusable FDA inspected containers.
The milking goats are fed GMO free feed, with goat pellet and alfalfa from Coyote Creek, the organic feed mill in the dairy's own town. Milk is pre ordered by text or call and collected at the farm by appointment, Monday to Saturday 10am to 7pm and Sunday 2pm to 7pm. Customers are asked to bring an ice chest or insulated bag to keep the milk cold on the way home, and pre ordering reserves a jug so it is waiting at the farm.
