Sound Sustainable Farms is a certified organic vegetable farm on over 60 acres of protected farmland in Redmond, Washington.
The land had sat fallow until 2017, when local composting company Cedar Grove leased it and rebuilt the depleted soil with its own locally made compost. The farm rejects synthetic insecticides, herbicides, fungicides and fertilisers, is certified organic by WSDA and GAP certified for food safety, and grows lettuce, strawberries, tomatoes, chard, kale, broccoli, cucumbers, peppers, radishes and more.
Produce is sold through a CSA and delivered to schools, restaurants, retailers and food banks around Puget Sound. The on site farmstand is open four days a week year round, selling the farm's own harvest alongside fruit and vegetables from other Washington organic farms, plus eggs, meats and dairy. Scheduled tours show visitors how and what the farm grows.

Great local products and fresh produce.
This place is a gem. Great fresh organic (or from farms using organic practices but not yet organic) produce and other healthy products. I've been twice so far and will definitely get as much as possible of my produce as possible from this shop. Today the young man even helped me carry out my groceries. Thank you!
Lovely shop with some of the best produce we've ever had.
