Verwill Farm is an upland hill farm at Combe Martin keeping rare and primitive sheep breeds, including pedigree North Ronaldsay rams, chosen to match different grazing behaviours to the local ecology.
The flock is raised only on pasture, with rotational grazing, restored hedgerows and no herbicides or artificial fertiliser, part of a whole farm approach aimed at healing soils, trees, wildlife and water.
Lamb, hogget and mutton are sold as boxes and individual cuts through the online shop, for home delivery or collection from the farm. There are sheepskin rugs, felted fleeces and whole fleeces too, plus breeding livestock at certain times of year.
