Picked up some delicious meat cuts, packaged up with wool insulation so we could cycle it home.
My wife and I luckily happened upon Brighleigh Farm a few years ago and signed up to their excellent newsletter.....it was from a poster at a local Chiropractor....being a little off our patch, it was not until yesterday that we visited to buy some of the produce. We found that the owners, Nigel and Penny were wonderfully friendly genuine warm and caring people. We had THE most delicious home made cakes and coffees, and took away some of the farms slow grown, pasture fed chicken and Beef to try. In all honesty, we have not yet eaten the meats, but I just know that it will be the healthiest and tastiest we will have had. Regenerative farming is what these farmers are committed to, and thriving with. Raising animals without GM feeds and chemical sprays - the way it was done before the great wars that birthed the awful chemical dependant farming, "revolution". Bravo Nigel, Penny and your daughters. We will be back (many times!) Bless your kind hardworking hearts one and all. Thank you for what you are doing. 7.7.26 Ok! now I can tell you this............the whole chicken (roasted) was noticeably tastier than either Waitrose organic, or Riverford Organic chickens we used to buy. The Brightleigh bird was richer, darker more dense leg and thigh meat, and the breast was juicy and tastier also. Because of the density, the bird went on providing meals for longer than the afore mentioned also. Result! Defiantly changing our buying habits to have more of Brightleigh joy in our lives - and the animals are cared for better too. Awesome eh.
Great place for local meat. Coffee shop, pottery place and gin and tonic tastings.
Rebuilding the food system, from the farm up

Went for the first time yesterday after my brother recommended it to me. Got Pasture raised chicken eggs. Staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome. On the way out I tried the scotch egg, it was warm and delicious 😋. Deffo give this place a try if you want great quality meat and eggs.
an underrated gem! i dont eat meat often but when i do, i buy it from here. Of course it is not the same price as the supermarket, but you can certainly taste the difference, and it is a pleasure to support a local family-run farm that cares about the welfare of their animals and the quality of their food.. so to me the higher price is absolutely worth it. i love to make bolognese, chilli con carne or meatballs with the beef mince! i also made some lovely stock with the chicken feet (brought in from another farm, but their welfare standards align with those of brightleigh farm, and the feet were excellent quality, so yellow!!) the homemade sausages are the best ive ever had.. extremely meaty with minimal ingredients and delicious in sausage casserole or as they are with potatoes+veg. the family have always been friendly and helpful when ive gone to the farm shop. it is clear that they are passionate about farming and love their animals. it was also lovely to go to the "coffee with the cows" event recently and i really look forward to coming back for that! i couldnt recommend brightleigh farm enough and it is a privilege to have somewhere like this local to me. anyone visiting the beautiful village of outwood should definitely take the time to visit the farm shop.
We met the Brightleigh Farm family recently when they were at Ted’s Market in Teddington, London. Sausages are excellent. Hoping to visit their farm some day soon too.
🦃🌾 A Feast to Remember with Brightleigh Farm 🌾🦃 This year, our amazing turkey came from Brightleigh Farm, and wow… worth every single penny! 🙌 Juicy, tender, melt-in-your-mouth perfection. Honestly, it stole the show at our table! 🍽️✨ And it didn’t stop there… 🥚 Fresh, golden-yolked eggs 🥩 Beautiful cuts of beef that simply melt in your mouth Everything is family-oriented, lovingly home-grown, and completely free from any rubbish. Just proper, honest, high-quality food, the way it should be. 🌿💚 You truly get what you pay for, and with Brightleigh Farm, you’re paying for care, quality, and passion in every bite. Proud to be a supporter of Brightleigh Farm! 👏🌟

Visited here as we had lots of acorns and windfall apples to give to the farm for their rare breed pigs. The farm shop was full of high quality beef and pork products and curries created by the Ruchita restaurant in Earlswood. Not cheap, but having purchased two different curries ( my father has yet to try the sausages and pasty he bought ) can recommend a visit. The curries were crammed with meat, were absolutely delicious and we will definitely be going back for more. They also have a small area selling drinks and cakes. Will be trying these on our next visit!
