Raspberry Lane Ranch is a family owned ranch in Kuna, Idaho run by Wendy and Scott under the motto Because happiness just tastes better.
The signature product is raw cream line milk, sold alongside eggs from pasture raised hens, pasture raised beef and pasture raised pork. The animals live as one flerd, a flock and herd combined, rotationally grazed on irrigated organic pastures watered from a well rather than canal water to keep chemicals off the grass.
The ranch began with six backyard chickens bought so Wendy's mother could eat eggs without falling ill, and grew from California to Idaho into 50 chickens, pigs and eight cows. Products are sold from the on farm store and through local stockists Jordan's and Choice Cuts Meats. The milk supply pauses each year while the cows take their dry period before calving, a rhythm the ranch explains openly on its blog.
