She grew up around her Dutch immigrant parents' Holstein dairy in South Africa, studied dairying in the Netherlands and worked on dairies from Germany to Japan before settling here, and she keeps Holstein cattle with a close eye on animal wellbeing and milk quality.

Milk and other dairy products are sold through the farm's Barn2Door online store, where you order ahead and choose a pickup time. Ria also welcomes local young people onto the farm to learn about dairy cattle and where their food comes from.
