Picnic Rock Farms is an eight generation family farm and farm stand in Meredith, New Hampshire growing its own fruit and vegetables, with a CSA, baked goods and a raw milk dairy case.
Picnic Rock Farms, formerly Longridge Farm, is a family farm in Meredith, New Hampshire that has been worked by the Hodsdon and Bird families since 1801, eight generations committed to innovative conservation practice in the Lakes Region.
Its farm stand on Daniel Webster Highway was the very first registered farm stand in the State of New Hampshire.
The farm grows its own fresh fruits and vegetables, sold through the stand and a CSA programme alongside jams and jellies, baked goods and other products, with a community garden and seasonal jobs rounding out the place. According to the getrawmilk directory the stand's dairy case also carries raw A2 cow milk, cream, cheese and kefir. Summer hours run 8am to 6pm Thursday to Sunday, with fall hours of 9am to 5pm, closed Wednesdays.
