Our family loves Erba Verde not only for the yummy raw milk we get through the milkshare, but they have delicious high quality food you can truly feel good about. One of our favorites is the chicken breakfast sausage they make. It is SO tasty! Plus, the kids love visiting the animals on the farm. Mary and Bryan are beautiful people and their staff is so friendly and easy to talk to. They also love supporting local businesses in their farm store. We are so grateful to have Erba Verde in our community. Highly highly recommend.
This was amazing!!!! We loved that all the Products and hope to visit again soon!!!! The price is great and a family friendly farm I mean come on!!!!
Erba verde is one of our favorite hidden gems to visit as a family and we make the trip weekly to fill our fridge and pantry with local goodness. The mercantile has so many great products that are made with clean ingredients and from local small businesses. From ice cream to sausage, to crackers and cheese, to tallow whips and sunscreens it’s always nice to slow down a little and take a walk through to discover something new. My kids love seeing the cows and other animals and it’s always an adventure to them. Bryan, Mary, and their staff are personable and are take pride in their work- it’s been awesome watching this beautiful farm grow.
I have been a customer for nearly a decade and Erba just keeps getting better! I am so grateful to have a farm with amazing, accessible foods nearby for this city-dweller. I almost hate to write this review because I don't want the secret to be out, but if it helps Erba to keep doing what they do, then I will tell you: I make all my chicken stock with their stock bags, I own part of the cows, I love their eggs. I do all my gift shopping in their farm store. I love, love, love the bulk floor cleaner. I love the facial products, soaps and candles they stock. The bacon is amazing! The tallow is so good when I don't have time to render my own. I love the cheeses, cream, fresh produces that is offered. I could go on and on... I LOVE saying hello to the cows and thanking them directly for providing for my family. I appreciate the whole process of being as connected to my food source as I can. I am grateful to Bryan and Mary and all who work on the farm for keeping the noble and important role of local food being provided in these times of mass and global production.
The highlight of every week is stopping by the farm shop for our milk and meat. The quality is next level. Bryan is a great guy and always so helpful. We are so grateful to have access to top notch food for our family.
We bought a good month's worth of meat here in an effort to maintain more control over what is in our food and also to take a more ethical approach to meat consumption. When we first got here there were big, beautiful fields full of lounging, napping cows and pigs. It looked like something out of a movie and there was so much healthy vegetation and room for the animals to roam and enjoy themeslves, and the selection of cuts were of substantial sizes and portions. We ended up spending the same amount as you would at Wegman's, maybe save a few bucks. The difference isn't just in the ethics or ingredients but also in the flavor. From the eggs to the meat, the flavor is hands-down incomparable to that of a factory farm or what you would buy at a grocery store. We are very fortunate to be able to enjoy this and even more fortunate to be so close to such an awesome operation! We had the opportunity to chat with the owner, Bryan, about his practices and how things are done. We were also gifted a sample of raw milk, which was such an amazing treat - it was gone in three days. We will absolutely be back to renew our stash next month.
