Russell and Rita Kellogg established the goat dairy in 1987 and added their own cheese processing plant in 1994. The barn houses 157 dairy goats, and the family handles every step itself, from raising and milking the goats to crafting gold medal winning goat cheese in aged logs, feta, cream cheese, mild cheddar and herb spreads. Farm tours let visitors mingle with the goats and even try milking by hand.
Raw goat milk is sold at the farm in gallons, alongside pasteurised Grade A goat milk, kefir and yogurt. The farm store adds goat milk soaps and creams, organic and gluten free foods, and locally produced honey, maple syrup, eggs, grass fed beef, pork and chicken from neighbouring producers. They are members of the American Cheese Society and Finger Lakes Farm Country.

Love this place! It’s been a family favorite. Goat cheese very mild and delicious (normally I don’t care for goat products for the gamey taste) we all LOVE the cheese! And they have great milk too! The local products that they source are fantastic. Owners are very accommodating and love their goats! Although I do wish they would switch to organic non gmo feed. Their products would be even more amazing!

When I say this tastes clean & pure, it’s the best I’ve tried so far, from anywhere in NY & PA! Reasonably priced & good hardworking family. So hard to raise a small goat business these days, but these guys are exceptional. Best to call ahead if you’re driving from far, since they could run out, or the season may not be the most productive time for milking. Thanks!
