A wonderful place.
What an enchanted place! You will love everything about it - the comfortable tents, the well appointed camp kitchen, the trails, the animals, the outdoor showers, and the people who live there, and care for it. This place has a piece of our hearts now.

Willow Witt Ranch - a wedding photographer review! Willow Witt is a most incredible venue. To say it simply, this land is special. The venue space boasts several different ways for couples and guests to visit and stay, from a stunning wrap-around-porch home, to epic glamping tents, to dry camping for the adventurous guest - you are covered. Then the scenery? Breathtaking. If one of your priorities for your wedding is for it to be in a beautiful place, where you can create beautiful imagery, Willow Witt is an excellent choice - the fields are incredible, and the reception area is too, all nestled in the woods. They have updated a lot of their amenities, giving us beautiful restrooms, and a huge open area kitchen to prepare incredible food for your event. All around, this venue is amazing, and perfect for an organic, earthy, inspired and intimate event or function. You will be so happy to have hosted your wedding or event here!
Wish I could give six stars! Camped here with a group and everything was amazing. Farm store was lovely, animals were so fun, and the facilities were the perfect balance of primitive/outdoorsy and comfortable. Oh and staff (and their dogs) get 10 stars!
Stayed in our own tent in the event area for a three day wedding here. We are long distance hikers who enjoy being outdoors and had great weather so keep that in mind with this review. This is the best wedding I’ve ever attended. Thanks goes to the excellent planning by the bride and groom plus the caterers food, and thanks also to the location at willow whitt. The field where the wedding took place was gorgeous. Big sky views and wild flowers everywhere. Stargazing at night. Several hikes to choose from during the day. I saw the turtle pond probably 5 times and caught glimpses of mt. Shasta from up there too. Went on the farm tour one morning, met all the goats. All the structures are well made with beautiful wood details. Most of the wedding party stayed in canvas tents and the cottage. It was cold and the canvas folks were all burning their little morso wood stoves which kept them toasty. I used the outdoor shower (there are two stalls) early each morning with a view of the beautiful field in the back and never ran out if hot water. My only minor gripes are with items I think willow whitt is actively working on. And the ranch has many other important projects going on so they can’t do everything all at once. First is only two toilet stalls for each gender which seemed too few for a large wedding. I had to duck in the men’s room a few times when the women’s was full. Also only one indoor shower stall for each gender. I do believe they have active plans to expand on the restrooms. Second, tent sites which were better cleared/leveled available for those of us bringing our own tents would be welcome…There weren’t many and they somewhat felt like an afterthought. However, again, it’s obvious theyre still working on the space and it was adequate. I don’t want my few suggestions to distract from how fantastic overall this place was for a wedding or other similar event. I think everyone from many walks of life thoroughly enjoyed themselves on our weekend. The space was beautiful and condusive to spending time outdoors together celebrating our friends. Thanks to the staff and everyone who made it a lovely weekend. You should be proud of the space you’ve helped create. And thanks to willow whitt in general for all their work preserving the land, protecting its inhabitants and making it accessible to all people.
It was a beautiful place for a vacation on a mountain. The owners and workers are wonderful. Very helpful. We got to see Sandhill Cranes. Livestock guard dogs. Goats, a mama deer and 2 tiny fawns. Several other deer. The Meadow House was well kept and beautiful. Had everything you'd ever want. The big, commercial kitchen was perfect to cook meals for the 100+ wedding guests. Bathhouse was well maintained. Everything was clean. I would definitely go there again.
