Starr Mountain Farmstead is a regenerative family farm in Etowah, Tennessee selling raw A2/A2 herd share milk, pork shares and pasture raised eggs.
Starr Mountain Farmstead is a small regenerative family farm in Etowah, Tennessee, close to the Cherokee National Forest, owned and run by Jarrett and Dianne Hadorn.
The dream came a long time before the land did. The couple gardened heavily on a smaller piece of ground, cooked more from scratch, and became a Master Gardener along the way, then moved to this property in 2021 to farm it properly. Their Jersey cows move to fresh pasture through rotational grazing, chickens follow behind in mobile pasture systems, and the pigs spend much of their lives rooting and foraging in wooded paddocks.
The main offer is fresh raw A2/A2 milk, sold through herd shares from their grass fed cows. Alongside it the farm sells forest raised pork by the share in season, naturally raised piglets, and eggs from chickens kept on pasture with access to natural forage. Jarrett and Dianne also run farm tours and education sessions on rotational grazing, pasture systems and regenerative practice. Days here begin with milking, then feeding the pigs and chickens, checking fencing and moving animals onto fresh grass, and in summer they make their own butter and cheese.

We moved to the area from North Georgia, we were very pleased to find a place nearby with raw milk. They were very welcoming and gave us a tour of their operation. We signed up and have been enjoying ever since. We are excited to also be able to buy a whole hog as well!
