Maple Knoll Farm

I’m a little upset to see that I was charged $28 for a quart of maple syrup when the website lists it as $17; so I feel a little taken advantage of. Also, I paid $5 (listed as $4) for a dozen of eggs… wish I could have brought more than one dozen but since I was not a local I was told I could not buy more.

We had a great little tour of the goats and the sugar shack. This man loves his goats and his goats love him. The maple syrup is astounding. We bought 2.5 gallons. Excellent price. We'll definitely stop again next time we head that way. Thank you.

Off season but we still got some warm maple and enjoyed our conversation with the owner.

Off the beaten path, although mostly on paved roads, is lovely Maple Knoll Farms. We didn't have enough of a maple syrup supply so we stopped in here. The absolute best part is when we talked to the lovely farm owner and she talked with us for a while. She provided insights into neighboring places to visit, including the Vermont Country Store, a mainstay of Vermont. She was extremely helpful! The territory is fabulous with numerous overlooks onto the green of the countryside. Her goat population is so cute. One note: Bring cash to buy syrup. Her prices were quite good for the product, and the product is almost criminally delicious! A bit out of your way, but well worth it!
