Meadows Bee Farm is a biodynamic educational farm in Windham, Vermont with a small raw milk Jersey dairy, rotationally grazed sheep, free range poultry, an apiary and orchards.
Meadows Bee Farm is a community based biodynamic farm on a Vermont mountainside in Windham, working under the banner ReVisioning Food, Farm and Forest.
Two Jersey cows, Jupiter and Rain, are milked raw with calf sharing so the calves stay with their mothers, and the cows and a flock of 20 sheep are rotationally grazed through the pastures and orchards. Free range chickens, turkeys and peafowl roam the farm, herbal methods support animal health, and a hillside apiary of Langstroth and top bar hives keeps pollinators across the land.
The farm makes its own biodynamic compost, grows perennial fruit and nut trees among ponds and swales as an edible forest, and treats education as part of the work. Its Young Farmers Program has taught ecological farming and farm arts since 2012, hosting over 750 young farmers in 2022 alone, with courses from seed starting and livestock care to beekeeping, maple sugaring and ceramics.

Beautiful farm and friendly people—like the old days of self-sufficiency and simple living. Cows, chickens, sheep, peacocks, turkeys, vegetable gardens, and oh…..did I mention friendly people. Maple syrup! Can’t wait to go back in Summer.
I love everything about Meadows Bee. The animals are treated well, which means there are excellent animal products available, like raw milk!! The farming philosophy is wonderful, they're glyphosate free, and children oriented. 10/10 would recommend.
This is a great working farm with educational classes to train the next generation of farmers. It’s worth your time to stop by to see for yourself!
