We love Lisa!!! Spit fire woman with a heart so big for her animals on the farm. THIS IS WHAT YOU WANT FROM A DAIRY FARM TRUST ME!!!!
Best raw milk in New England! The dairy also sells cheeses made from Jersey Girls raw milk that are out of this world. I'm hooked!
Nice Farm with cows, horse, chickens. Sells raw milk, cheese and organic eggs. They were closed for tour but the guys were so nice to give a nice experience and also helped us with waterfall spots near by. Very friendly and welcoming folks.
Great milk, eggs and cheese. But make sure to pick up some maple syrup! Wood fired, delicious and cheap!! A quart was only $12, verses $30 in most tourist traps that's probably oil evaporated. Lisa, the farmer, said that she feeds the cows fancy (Grade A light) maple syrup rather than sell it. Truly happy cows!
An original true old Vermont Dairy farm. Absolutely charming. The full cream milk is exsquisite.
This is THE place to get locally/humanly raised farm products. The farm needs lots of support right now because the town has completely screwed them over by not maintaining the access bridge, which they have now replaced with a temporary one which is not rated for the weight of the milk trucks. As I understand it, there is no time table for proper replacement.
A must visit in Vermont! This is how our food is supposed to be. Milk is wonderful. And no lactose side effects. Something definitely right. Best peach pie that I've ever had! And by the way, try the veal. Tour thr farm. Lisa will enlighten you and the those very friendly cows will delight you.
Jersey Girls Dairy is Lisa Kaiman's small Jersey cow dairy in Chester, Vermont selling raw creamline milk, quark, pasture raised veal and eggs from its on farm store.
Jersey Girls Dairy is a small farm run by owner and farmer Lisa Kaiman, who milks a herd of Jersey cows and bottles their raw creamline milk right on the farm. The milk is not homogenised, so the cream rises to the top, and it is free of hormones and pesticides. The farm also makes quark, a soft fresh cheese, and raises rose veal on pasture and mother's milk, certified humanely raised.
The farm store sells the milk and quark alongside pure veal sausages in several flavours, pasture raised eggs from hens fed non GMO grain, and dog treats made with the farm's own meat and eggs. Everything except milk and eggs can be shipped, with orders placed by phone or email.
