Falling River Meats is a butcher shop and deli in North Bend, Washington with a small farm of its own behind the counter.
The family pasture raises piglets on its Snohomish property until weaning, then moves them to pastures between Carnation and Duvall where they have space to roam, root and live as pigs should.
The shop deliberately stays small and partners directly with other small scale local farms for the rest of its range, offering beef, pork, chicken, lamb, goat and rabbit that is bred, born and raised humanely on pasture by farmers the butchers know. It is also listed on raw milk directories as a retail source of raw cow and sheep milk. The counter is open Thursday to Saturday 11am to 7pm and Sunday 11am to 5pm, closed Monday to Wednesday, with online ordering for pickup.

The best roast beef sandwich I’ve ever had. It looks a little pricey, but they give you a massive portion, probably two meals. Very high quality ingredients.
Exceptional and awesome!! Great vibe and food!
I rarely leave reviews. Only when the food or service is so horrible I leave as a warning to others. OR when the food or service is so incredibly remarkable, I leave as an encouraging, urging, prompting to my fellow Sno Valley neighbors & visiting travelers. This is that! The Hunter sandwich was delicious. The flank steak was perfectly seasoned and roasted. The other components were each perfectly prepared and the combination created one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten. I’m old. I’ve eaten a lot of meat shop/deli sandwiches in many states. The atmosphere is inviting, warm, small-town friendly meets an incredibly high-end butcher shop with a vast inventory of cuts of meats. The man who took my order and prepared the sandwich was professional, friendly, and funny. You should go. I’ll be back next week for beef. And another sandwich. And the week after that. And – you get it.
