Brilliant place to spend an hour or so. We loved seeing the Highland cows out the back and the goats in the car park paddock. Great selection in the farm shop and excellent freshly cooked hot food. We had a bacon barm, sausage barm and a cheese burger, all delicious 😋. You need to try the milkshakes!! The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, nothing seemed a bother. One of the ladies came out with some food to bring the cows and bull over for the children. Overall a fantastic place to visit.
Yummy ice-cream Very happy goats out the front but they should maybe lower the brush a little so the baby goats can reach it easier😀😀😀😀
went tonight as we always do for a milkshake and paid for the milkshake but didn’t give me the milkshake instead poured the syrup into the bottle then did a clean on the machine downfall to this place is that there’s no contact number for when these things happen so you just take the loss.
Nice place.
First time visiting - popped in to get some potatoes and baguettes. No baguettes but got the potatoes, some fresh orange juice in glass bottle and a fresh bottle of milk from a machine. They had cakes, vegetables, refrigerated items and a butchers. Bonus seeing baby goats in field next to car park as I was leaving.
Love this place Good selection of everything and more than you would expect from a farm shop and the even sell toys. Staff are friendly. You can see the animals in the back and the goats in the front. Gorgeous highland cows.
The farm shop is great. It has good selection of meats, milk and other home made produce. Definitely worth a visit. We visited the day the let the cows out and it was a really good day.
Nice little farm shop. All very expensive as most farm shops are. Bought a pork pie- very nice. Also had a freshly made bacon roll - very nice. Got a milkshake and ice creams from the vending machines which was cool and a novelty as I hadn't done it before.
Looking forward to trying the various meats and oven-ready meals I bought - steak burgers, calves liver, bacon and leek gratin, potatoes, wedges etc! They look absolutely amazing, flavoursome and fresh, and the ingredients are spot on - just the essentials; no preservatives, stabilisers, oils etc. I also tried the chicken wrap and stilton soup from the pantry - wow! The wrap had delicious chunks of tender chicken (must be the farm's) and the soup, well, one of the best I have had (tasted like a homemade brocolli and stilton soup I made myself from raw ingredients). Yesterday, I also had the fresh milk and lemon cake from the hut. Both excellent. I would recommend that the cakes etc. are labelled, though, as I had to guess that my cake was a lemon one before buying it (it was, indeed). The prices of everything are very reasonable and this is one place I know I will return to when in the area again. Proper family-run farm as well, down to earth and friendly. The people who work here are extremely helpful and kind. Good amount of parking - had no issues finding a spot even on a busy (albeit rainy) day!
