Best farm stand I've found. Super cute, clean and it's fun to see the animals when you drive up. Plus their eggs are decently priced for free range and you can SEE that the chickens are being raised well.
This little local place was an absolute gem. I was looking for raw honey and didn't want to drive all over. I messaged through their Facebook page and got a response right away. They don't take cards for payment, BUT make it EXTREMELY easy and user friendly to make cash and check purchases. I was pleasantly surprised by the options available, as from the outside the spot looked on the smaller side. This is definitely a new favorite and we will be frequent faces for sure!
Some of the best chicken I’ve eaten. Chicken at the store is pumped full of water which washed all the flavor away, not to mention skewing the weight so you pay for water instead of actual meat. Not this chicken!! Plump and lovely, and the bones make the most wonderful bone broth!! Worth every penny, especially knowing it isn’t full of all the nonsense that seems to go into the meat they sell at Meijer and Walmart. Can’t wait to buy more!!
Rebuilding the food system, from the farm up

Awful chicken! My son got me 3 chickens and they were very expensive (I think around $25/chicken). Looked forward to roasting them as I regularly roast whole organic chicken. What a disappointment. Lacked breast meat, taste was lacking-very bland, and tough. I’ll stick to purchasing organic chicken from Meijer and Amish. The labels were not not properly filled out so that was also a concern.
Wonderful little home farm store. They have pretty basic yet specialty items (local honey, maple syrup, cream, herbs, some meats, etc.. unless youre part of their co-op, then you have a bit more), but I love everything there. I truly appreciate that they are focused on whole, real food without all the chemicals and additives. I love buying flowers in the spring and summer as well! My kids and I love stopping by to get a few of our family essentials whenever we are nearby: )
We stopped in yesterday for the first time. Beautiful property and animals. We picked up eggs and a loaf of sourdough. Both were wonderful. So many other things we want to try. Probably going to be a weekly stop for us!
