Air2Ground Farms

After nearly 25 years of military service, Rich McGlamory swapped the cockpit for cattle, pigs, chickens and sheep, farming alongside Shelley with a simple mission: heal the land, raise healthy animals, feed people well and tell the truth about food. The cattle are grass only and never finished on grain, rotated across pasture. Berkshire pigs live outdoors in forested paddocks on local non GMO feed, chickens and Katahdin sheep are raised on fresh pasture, and the farm also milks a small Jersey dairy herd and produces pastured eggs and seasonal goods.

The meats sell through Air2Ground Meats, the farm's own store at 105 North Jefferson Street in Ava, at Forsyth Farmers Market, and by frozen shipping. A weekly YouTube livestream and the farm blog keep customers close to the daily work.
