Not what we expected… If you are looking for a great overall experience, this is not the vibe. I was shocked the tickets were so costly, $15 each to get in. I can understand $5 or $10 per car, but $30 for two people was a lot. This is definitely a working farm, you get to walk by all the workers’ trailers, which is not typical for exploring flowers, etc. It was a very hot day, over 90 degrees and there is no reprieve on a farm. We waited for a while for the 10: 30 cow parade and could not cross to take photos of our liking. Then, we went and cut some sunflowers, which was difficult to figure out the information from the person. It is an honor system as the group in front of us did not pay and walked away with 8 flowers. We paid $3 each flower cut. We did enjoy the flowers themselves, but would have been better suited to wear boots along the farm. The market was very expensive. Yes, organic, but the prices are less at the farmers’ markets. With the heat and little else to do, no where to have a picnic, we left after one hour. If you enjoy paying to get in and for everything you law this is your vibe. But overall, not ours.
Save your money. We paid $13 for what? For a hay ride and a cow parade and getting bitten by loads of flies. The reviews on this farm must have been from family members promoting their own farm. Very dissapointed.
Always love a good farmer’s market.

Rebuilding the food system, from the farm up

We came down for the sunflower soiree, which was fabulous. And now we have returned for pumpkin and puppets, and pick your own pumpkin. We will be back for christmas with the cows. We love it here. Ok so we came for Christmas with the cows and the German market..... We are even more in love with this place! St.Nicholas and farm hand Rupert were even their giving the children cookies. Can't wait to go back! ***We have now attended every event throughout the calender year, and we LOVE it at Brookford farm! We will return everything!
Always have an event going on that the kids love. The store is clean and has a large variety of goods. And the porta-potty was spotless 😉
So fun to feed all the baby animals. There all very friendly Store is very clean lots of great items to buy. Store staff are friendly.
We loved Christmas with the Cows! Was such a cute event. Great to pet and hangout with the cows, sheep, and pigs. There were a lot of baby farm animals when we attended. Event was pretty cheap to attend at only $15. Loved the homemade hot chocolate. They had a lot of homemade German Christmas food. Plenty of small businesses were there selling crafts, food, and small items perfect to give for Christmas. We had an amazing time!
Place is a beautiful cute farm. Shop is very well done. Very organized, all the food they sale look top grade. I love that they sell the raw organic milk in glass bottles. The signage is also very cool. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants good milk or meats.
