Martin Family Farm

Luke is the third generation of Martins to work the land, and Sam joined the farm at eighteen. Together they ran the dairy and the field work from 2009 to 2022, and officially took over the business in 2023. That same year they decided to diversify, ending their commercial contract with Organic Valley and moving to an all beef herd, crossed with the dairy animals they could not part with.

The farm sells certified organic beef by the cut, from ground beef and stew to brisket, short ribs, strip loin and ribeye. Orders go in by phone or text, and the beef is left in the milk house freezer to collect at your convenience. Raw milk is picked up at the farm by the half gallon, with a jar deposit for first time customers or your own jar to swap. Luke and Sam also run horse drawn carriage and sleigh rides, on the farm or at your own event, and sell dry round bales, square bales and haylage to other farms nearby.
