Fledgling Farmstead

A small herd of Guernsey cows has lived here since 2013, raised for milk and meat, joined by a mixed breed flock of sheep and free ranging laying hens. The animals are grass fed through the warm months, fed hay in winter, and grazed intensively to keep the hilly pastures and soils healthy.

The farm store sells retail cuts of beef and lamb, with half and whole lambs in the autumn, and the eggs turn up at the Chelsea and Montpelier farmers markets. New for 2025 is raw, 100% grass fed A2A2 Guernsey milk, sold by the half gallon to pre registered customers only, so get in touch to join the milk list.
