I bought a jar of honey as me and my pals were passing by on a cycling tour, and Mick kindly gave me a free extra shot jar of honey! And it tasted amazing, whilst also giving me a much need boost of energy! What's more is one of us had left their bag outside his house, and he was amazing enough to bring the bag to us in Gorey! Unbelievable guy, and incredible generousity! I for one will continue to support Tara Hill Honey 👍
I came across Tara Hill honey at a company event where Michael and Anne invited me to sample numerous honey jars. There was a definite and delicate variation in flavour across all the honeys, all wonderful! I recall there being Heather Honey, Raw Ivy Honey, Apple Blossom Honey and a Hot Chilli Honey! The Bee Pollen was beautiful and I was fortunate to take home a small box of Blossom Honeycomb - this went down very well with my family! Having the pleasure to have a chat with Michael and Anne was one of the highlights of my week in Ireland. A very warm, genuine and wholesome team!
I was so fortunate as to meet the owners of Tara Hill Honey on a magical holiday in late winter, 2024. They gifted me with a jar of their honey. I only discovered the Tara Hill Honey website by chance quite recently. So far I have only tried the Apple Blossom and Blossom varieties. They are the nicest honeys I have ever tasted. Also, their customer service is excellent. Definitely to be recommended.
