I don’t believe there’s a better place in the UK to source your meat from. Family owned and high integrity people. I have been ordering online for at least 3 years and have never had a problem. I now order every 1-2 weeks and never buy supermarket meat anymore because the difference in quality is chalk and cheese. Gazegill #1.
Wonderful worth a visit.. Having steak tonight. 😋 The views are fantastic. Best to go weekends to get a great variety of meat.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We’ve visited several times now and every experience has been consistently excellent. The restaurant was wonderfully busy when we arrived, which I always take as a far better recommendation than anything I might read online. Despite that, we were welcomed warmly, found a table without fuss and never felt hurried. The food is exactly what you hope for from a working organic farm with beautiful ingredients, simply cooked and allowed to speak for themselves. Looking out across the fields while enjoying lunch is a lovely reminder that quality takes time, care and an enormous amount of hard work. The farm shop is equally dangerous. I went in intending to buy a couple of essentials and somehow left with sourdough, local cheese, homemade butter, pastries and flowers. I’m convinced that’s part of the experience. I have to admit I find some of the negative reviews rather surprising. Independent farms seem to be held to extraordinary standards, expected to provide Michelin-quality food, artisan produce and flawless service every single minute of every single day. The reality is that this is a working farm run by people who clearly care deeply about what they produce, and that comes across in every detail. I’ve always thought the happiest customers are rarely the ones writing lengthy internet essays. They’re usually enjoying another coffee, browsing the shop or planning their next visit. Places like this deserve to thrive. In a world increasingly built around convenience, it’s refreshing to find somewhere that quietly prioritises quality instead. We’ll certainly be back and I’ll probably leave with far more than I intended to buy once again.

So i had never been to an Organic Farm Shop 🚜 before but after researching Grass Fed and Organic food health benefits I decided to Google "Best Organic Farm Shop near me" I live in Manchester but the nearest one with great reviews was Gazehill Organic Farm Shop. So after reading the amazing reviews I decided to jump in the car and drive up to Gazehill Farm, As i got to the farm I saw several cute Piglets 🐖 running around, I parked next to the Farm Shop/Butchers. Before I headed inside I went over to the Pig pens and then headed inside the Farm Shop, The Butcher was extremely knowledgeable and I ended up buying Grass Fed Salted butter 🧈, Organic Extra Mature Cheese 🧀, Organic Sundried Tomatoes 🍅, Organic Lamb and Herb 🌿 stock cubes, 2x Rump Steak, 2x Sirloin steak, 4x Minute Steak, 2x Grass Fed Lamb chops and some raw Organic Milk 🥛. Total came to £65, Excellent value and we are really looking forward to having some Grass Fed Steak Tonight. 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ I post alot of reviews on Google and I always give my honest opinion on everything from food, cleanliness, drink, Service, value for money, setting, ambience etc and I have over 50, 000, 000+ views on Google. Great to see happy, heathy animals. Males you question the whole supermarket mentality. Nice folk and lovely friendly dogs too.
We visited the restaurant during mid day. It was almost full (a good sign that it's in demand), but we got accommodated quickly and easily. Great customer service, the staff are top notch. The food was amazing, and proper fresh stakes were cooked to perfection, from animals grown right on the pastures nearby that you could look at through the window. I'll be coming back, for sure. People need to appreciate more the farms and the hard work put into this. It's really hard work to create such high-quality pasture-raised organic products. And we also order online, quite regularly. It's definitely worth it. I don't understand the negative reviews. People are quick to complain the moment a small detail gets missed, but they don't leave a good review when everything is right. And most negative reviews I see relate to online orders, which are mostly related to postage and such shipping details, not the food quality or the restaurant (which are great and should get a 5 star all the time).
The highest quality meat I've been able to get since moving to the UK. The taste is genuinely grassfed and there's no unwanted additives in their meat. My only criticism is the packaging. You need to freeze or vaccum pack your sausages etc a bit better or they go off too quickly. Other than that, grade A produce!
