The Dearings are very friendly and accommodating and their prices are great. This is my first time shopping here and I have not had a chance to try what I bought yet.

About the farm
Dearing Country Farms is a 30 acre family farm west of Bloomington, Illinois selling naturally grown pastured eggs, chicken, beef, goat, lamb, vegetables and fruit at local markets and a farm stand.
Dearing Country Farms is a 30 acre family farm a couple of miles west of Bloomington, Illinois, started in 2006 by Brad and Jackie Dearing, who hand planted over 5,000 native trees and shrubs on once eroding cropland as a windbreak, prairie restoration and reforestation project. They began with 300 laying hens raised cage free and on pasture with organic and non GMO feed, then grew into chemical free produce, meat chickens and turkeys, beef cattle, goats and sheep, with fruit trees and berries planted across the farm.
The farm sells at the Downtown Bloomington farmers market on Saturdays from May through October, at winter markets, and from an on farm stand on Wednesday afternoons in season. Raw goat milk from the farm's Nubian and LaMancha does is also available by arrangement, call ahead to schedule a pickup and bring your own container, as Illinois law requires. Alongside their own meat, eggs, produce and herbs, the online shop also lists Florida seafood. Their Pioneer and Sustainability AgriLearning Center runs classes from regenerative agriculture to homesteading, and events such as Breakfast with the Goats bring visitors onto the farm.
