Raw milk comes from their small herd of Jersey cows under Illinois raw milk permit 15004, tested monthly, and it is never shipped in from another farm. Seasonal raw goat milk is offered for those with cow milk allergies, and no artificial growth hormones or routine antibiotics are ever used on the farm.
The cows are very close to fully grass fed and pastured, eating alfalfa hay, organic hay pellets and pasture, with a little non GMO corn at milking time to keep a couple of older cows in condition through winter. A self serve farm store at the end of the cedar lined drive sells the milk alongside milk fed pork raised outdoors on the farm's spare milk, completely free range chicken and duck eggs, raw honey from their own hives, and handcrafted goat milk soap.

This was my first visit. My son and I drove almost 2 hours to get real farm products. We went to the store located on their farm property to buy raw milk, raw cream, and goat milk lotion. Loved the milk and cream. We made homemade butter and raw honey (honey purchased elsewhere) from the cream. The lotion smells great and feels lightweight but moisturizing. I got the black raspberry vanilla fragrance and it was heavenly!! We texted their phone that is on the website ahead of time to make arrangements for the owners to be there.... You should stop by and check them out you will not be disappointed.

A small family farm, owned and operated by Scott and Anna Hoffman in Central Illinois (Fairbury). Raw cow milk comes from our small herd of Jersey cows. It is never shipped in from another farm. Milk is tested monthly to keep raw milk license up-to-date! They bottle their raw milk in plastic gallon jugs for your convenience (jars available for routine pickups) *Raw goat milk (seasonal). Other products include: *Milk-fed non-gmo pork. *Pasture-raised chicken eggs *Duck eggs (seasonal) Chickens and ducks are free-range, meaning outside with no fences. All animals (except goats) are fed a local non-GMO feed mix. *Handcrafted goat milk soap and other bath products that vary by season. *Raw honey from our hives or a close neighbor. *100% maple syrup (seasonal)
